The setting of the novel is in Sweden and it tells the readers about a journalist that tries to reveal the mystery of a murder.

The story of this novel is about family, love, and murder mystery. This is a perfect combination that will make everyone willing to read the whole story. It’s all about murder mystery of Harriet Vanger. She comes from a wealthy family in Sweden. Harriet disappeared forty years ago and her disappearance left a mystery. A journalist named Mikael Blomkvist is hired to investigate this case. However, his investigation is not an easy task. He even spends a year to make a research. This difficult situation doesn’t take longer time since he is helped by a great person.

The person is Lisbeth Salander. She is a very talented person that accompanies Blomkvist in finishing his task. She is a very genius person that has incredible ability.
