To be a leader is not easy. Everyone needs to know the secrets to be a successful leader. Tom Rath understands that many people want to be a successful leader in their life. This great author then writes a book about leadership entitles Strengths-Based Leadership. This book tells us about strengths and why people follow the most important leader.
This book is actually the upgrade version of the Strengthsfinders-library. However, the author doesn’t rewrite the ideas. He gives us new point of view that can be very helpful. This book is based on deep research by Gallup. This great researcher spends thirty years to make a research on strengths. They collect the data by conducting interviews with the leaders and followers around the world. Tom Rath writes the result of the research into his book. First, make sure that you know the strengths that you have. Second, choose people with the right strength to be put in your team. Last but not least, understand the need of people who follow you. These keys are totally helpful to make yourself a better leader in the future.
