Although this past season wasn’t the best the Bears have ever had, when it came down to tackles, the top 10 achievers were Briggs with 91, Tillman with 81, Urlacher with 79, Payne with 73, Graham with 70, Brown with 57, Ogunleye with 48, Alex Brown with 42 and Harris with 33.
With the right guidance from the coaching team, the Bears are certain to be a force to be reckoned with. Coaches include head coach Lovie Smith, offensive coordinator Ron Turner, defensive coordinator Bob Babich, special teams coordinator Dave Toub, quarterbacks Pep Hamilton, running backs Tim Spencer, wide receivers Darryl Drake, tight ends Bob Boras, offensive line harry Hiestand, offensive line assistant Luke Butkus, offensive assistant Charles London, defensive line/assistant head coach Rod Marinelli, assistant defensive backs Gill Byrd, defensive backs Jon Hoke, strength and conditioning coordinator Rusty Jones, strength and conditioning assistant Jim Arthur, defensive assistant Eric Washington and assistant special teams Chris Tabor.
