Shortly after this fad had started, it diminished and he was no longer interested in guitar. Now whilst I understand kids go through phases I was a little reluctant to encourage or advocate the fact he was no longer interested after spending so much money.
So, I found this on the internet, on-line guitar lessons for kids and training package. I figured that lets give this one more shot before throwing in the towel. My son loved it!!! Its young its funky, provides on line training and allows him to be the rock star he wants to be without having to go and see the local instructor who just was not exciting my son.
This product is so worth it, its suitable for all styles of guitar playing ranging from acoustic guitar, electric guitar and music genres ranging from blues, classical, to rock and hard rock, we are all enjoying it as a family and my son plays beautifully. He has recently started a little band with a group of friends, and has asked Dad to convert the garage into a studio!! Think we will hold guns before investing that kind of money, but we are glad that he is enjoying his guitar now…. Money not wasted!
One of the key benefits of the guitar superstar package is that I have access to a whole host of products and services which include world famous guitarists offering their on line guitar teaching and tutoring skills.
This product has given my son the opportunity to learn any guitar chord imaginable.

For this lesson, make sure your piano and computer are sitting next to each another. With your eyes focused ONLY on your computer screen and your right hand in the Middle C Position, we’ll begin sight-reading a group of numbers and play the corresponding notes on your piano keyboard. And to add an extra degree of difficulty, we’re also going to flip these number sequences around and play them in reverse! As always, you can catch the online version of this exercise at: www.get-piano-lessons.com
Help answer the question about computer lessons for a beginner
Dell Inspiron Mini computer and an external hard drive?
Hi people. I need some help.
A few months back I purchased a Dell Inspiron Mini pc. Great. Apart from the fact that I was duped by the salesperson and told that this wonderful (but small) machine could do everything, surf the net, store all my photos and all my itunes music. How wrong they were.
Not only does the pc have a rather pathetic 1GB of memory (similar to that of a goldfish) but it is only meant to be used for surfing the web. Anything more taxing and it literally starts to panic and just shuts down. Don't worry I have learned my lesson and changed my computer store and now do research on everything new I buy…
So, I went out to buy an external hard drive. Rather than concern myself with shoddy salespeople I did this over the internet and did all my reseach before hand. Said hard drive arrived recently.
Now, I'm not exactly a beginner with computers, but I'm not exactly Bill Gates either. The hard drive does not come with instructions so therefore I plugged it into my USB drive, shut my eyes and hoped for the best.
I tried loading my itunes onto it%

You need to start the class off by finding out the level of comfort your students have…show of hands may work, sometimes doing an anonymous survey is less intimidating to people. The other thing you may want to do early in the class is to find out [make a list on the board...] what folks actually want to learn. You may want to check into a few things before you start teaching: 1) are you working with Mac or PC platform? 2) do you have Vista? 3) is there a suggested text / book or do you have to choose one, and are students going to buy books or are texts optional? 4) do you have any texts you can "borrow" ideas and projects from? is there a library nearby [public, college, high school, etc] or maybe your school has a technology teacher [or just a techno-geek?] who can help you out…
You can email me at my profile if you need more help / someone to bounce ideas off of….Good luck!
